TAPSemr was created by two veteran emergency physicians based in Los Angeles. They wanted an EMR specifically designed for the high mobility and fast pace of the ED. With recent advances in computer technology such as tablets and handwriting recognition, they were finally able to realize their dream of building the ultimate EMR system for the ED doctor. They partnered with OmniPlatform, a renowned software company in Los Angeles, and built the program from the ground up.
